American Junk Removal moved everything in our basement to a storage unit while our basement gets remodeled. When the basement is finished, they will come back to move everything back to the remodeled basement. The workers were careful and highly efficient! The service was reasonably priced! We would highly recommend American Junk Removal for your moving needs!

I had a fantastic experience with Adam and his team from American Junk Removal, LLC. They did an outstanding job dismantling and disposing of my swimspa. The crew worked quickly and efficiently, and they left my property spotless afterward. Everyone was very personable and accommodating throughout the entire process. I had an unused shed who roof had partially collapsed. I contacted American Junk Removal, and they were quick to come out, take a look, and get me a free estimate. We scheduled an appointment and in no time the shed was gone, rotting furniture inside it and all. The made the process quick and easy. Even finished the project a day early! They were quick, friendly, communicative, and did an excellent job.

American Junk Removal did an excellent job at breaking down and removing our above-ground pool, while also filling in the footprint with fresh soil. The attention to detail and consideration of our yard was top notch. Adam and his crew were timely, courteous, and very respectful to our needs. I would use them again and will highly recommend them to others.

Adam and his assistant were extremely professional; kind, easy going, and hard working. Adam was responsive to each of my many calls with questions during scheduling. On one of the hottest days (95°) of the summer, they went above and beyond with helping me remove furniture, trash, and electronics (large TV’s) from my garage; while smiling. They also took a large and HEAVY treadmill from my first floor.
Thank you gentlemen. I will be recommending you to everyone, and calling you again soon!
My best, Kate

02/02/26 update:
I used them again and was overwhelmed with the ease of working with Adam and his team!! Would recommend to everyone!

American Junk Removal cleaned out my garage. They were friendly and respectful and did a great job. Even though it was more than thought they still kept to their word and took care of it as if it was never an issue! The guys were so friendly and they cleaned up after themselves! I was contacted before they arrived and they listened to all my requests with utter professionalism. I would highly recommend them and will use them again if I ever am in need of it! I have recommended them to anyone who has a junk problem. Great job making me lose so many pounds I didn’t need!!

I hired Adam and his crew to help me clean up my condo. I had fallen behind on my cleaning duties and I was in a position that I couldn't do it alone. Plus, I needed my couch, captains lounge chair and stove removed. They went above and beyond for a reasonable price, and then some! I feel free, not bound by my laziness. I feel as though I have a new lease on life and they were step 1 in the process of taking control of life again. I no longer feel burdened by a situation that was stopping me from living a normal domestic life. If you can relate, call Adam! He will do the same for you.

We needed a cleanout and reorganization of our back yard after a tree removal crew abandoned a job leaving huge chunks of maple limbs behind. Adam and his crew brought in a wood splitter, bushwhacker, and tractor. They worked tirelessly for 3 days to split and stack all the salvageable wood, haul out debris, clean out brush that had grown around the felled limbs, and otherwise redo the space. Through it all Adam was clear, communicative, and careful to ask how we wanted things done. In short, he and his crew did everything as we would have done it were we able. The price was fair for the tremendous labor, and we got our yard back. Highly recommended!

I cannot speak highly enough of American Junk Removal. The owner is not only professional but also incredibly warm and attentive. From start to finish, the level of service provided was exceptional. The team was efficient, and the personal attention I received from the owner made the experience even more rewarding. There were some items I couldn’t reach or manage to remove on my own, but the crew went above and beyond to ensure they addressed everything possible. Thanks to their outstanding service, I was able to successfully sell my property. I truly appreciate their dedication and hard work.

Could not recommend this company more. Adam and his partner cleaned out my entire apartment in under an hour. I accidentally threw away my jewelry (which was in a very small pouch) and didn’t realize until days later. They went through everything and found the pouch, which I was able to retrieve the same day. I think most would agree that kind of honesty speaks volumes these days. They have great pricing, professional, and very kind. Thanks a million again, I will highly recommend this company to anyone in the future. Made my big move a BREEZE!

I have hired Adam Chop of American Junk Removal LLC two times. The first time was in October 2022 when he cleaned out my basement and garage. He and his one helper were amazing. They cleared everything I wanted gone including old cans of paint and chemicals. Some of the paint cans had rusted thru and stuck to my garage floor. Adam was able to remove them and clean the floor. They also cleaned out my garage attic neatly stacking the newer shingles I wanted to keep. They took an old washer, dryer and chest freezer from the basement along with old kitchen cabinets and years of accumulated junk all of which had to be carried up and outside via steep hatchway stairs. After everything was loaded up they took the time to sweep up all the floors.

I hired American Junk Removal (Adam Chop) again in December 2023 to remove an old couch, chair, side tables and bed from my handicapped brother’s apartment. On the way there Adam stopped and picked up the new furniture, delivered it and stuck around to make sure it was all inside and set up before he took the old stuff away. Once again, I felt American Junk Removal went above and beyond to help me.

I would not hesitate to call Adam Chop of American Junk Removal LLC, Meriden, CT. Both times I’ve hired them they gave me great service, more than I expected, for a fair price, with the added bonus of peace of mind.

Had an outdoor hot tub that had frozen and needed removing. Fully expected to have a little cleanup after the large bits were gone as I had been "inside" trying to fix it, taking account of the mess critters had made inside. Didn't find a single bit from the job, where most outdoor crews typically leave butts, wire bits, etc. to get to the next job. During the segmenting of the unit, I didn't even really hear the sawing. Quote matched the estimate to the cent. Would use again.

I had a great experience with American Junk Removal. The owner and two young men removed a king-sized mattress and bed frame from my second floor home. They came the same day and were very careful not to damage anything on the way out. They even carried my new mattress upstairs and removed some boxes for an additional small fee. I will be using them again in the future and definitely recommend their services.
